The small town of Oragami was a beautiful, pristine, industrial town just north of Sendai. It was the source of many industrial gains and a very prosperous people. These people were like normal people in Japan and enjoyed the close relationship they had with the sea up until that fateful day in 2011. The horrendous tsunami wiped out not only the town but the happiness of the people. Before the tsunami, the houses were pushed together in an arrangement much like the pieces of a puzzle. Now water runs through the streets. The children of the town used to run around the streets laughing and gallivanting with their friends. Now only tears remain. The beautiful industrial park in the small town used to provide good tidings and jobs to the fortunate people who lived there. Now it is a reminder. A reminder of what once was. The once proud little town was once bursting with people and ideas. However, since that fateful day, the people have left. They have evacuated the once loved town. Left it to fall into the clutches of the sea. The beautiful deep blue sea used to provide so much promise and hopefulness to the people of the town of Oragami. Now it is the enemy. The majestic sea once provided food and a source of labor for the happily thriving villagers. The sea is now the sources of nightmares. The town used to be a source of much posterity and happiness for the happy villagers. Now it sits in ruins. The town used to stand as a fortress next to the water, surveying the beast with little interest. Now it has invaded their castle. Most of the resilient villagers made it out of the horrific incident alive and with their small families. Those who are left now mourn for those lost.
